Frank and Joe Carlucci - Frank is Second in Command, mate to Rose and father to 8 youngsters. Joe is Third in Command, mate to Annie and father to 6 youngsters. Owners of one of the largest construction companies in Maryland, Carlucci Construction Corp, or Triple C, they are extremely protective of their family and Pack and will do anything needed to keep them safe. Raoul Bova is perfect to portray them and as an added bonus he is from Lazio, Italy where the Rossi Pack originates.
Stephano (Steve) Carlucci - father of Frank and Joe, Level 5 Beta and former Second in Command. He is best friends with Ray Vitti and the late Antonino (Tony) Rossi. Like his sons, he is fiercely protective of his family, friends and Pack. Retired from the State Department he is currently working for the Alpha Council on a goodwill tour of the Packs in Europe. Frank Vincent makes a perfect Steve because even though he is charming, there is an underlying level of ruthlessness just waiting to come out.
Raffaello (Ray) Vitti - father to Rose and Annie, Level 5 Beta and former Third in Command, best friend to Steve Carlucci and the late Tony Rossi. Retired from the State Department, he is presently in Europe with Steve on the goodwill mission. Extremely protective of his family and Pack, he made sure his only youngsters learned to fight as well as any male in the Pack. Franco Nero has the intensity to portray Ray.

ReplyDeleteYes, in fact they don't just 'look alike', they are identical, right down to their dimples. The only way to tell them apart, is Frank's youngsters have curly hair, are right handed and have dimples on the right side of their face. Joe's youngsters have straight hair, are left handed and have dimples on the left side of their face. Even Sophia and Maria share those traits with the curly hair/straight hair, dimples and dominant hand.

Well do u know about the Italian Football(Soccer) player named CLAUDIO MARCHISIO ? Got the most dreamy eyes. Wen i read about Damian, i think of him. OR
The 70'S & 80's legendary Italian footballer ANTONIO CABRINI, was known as the ''Boyfriend of Italy". He had such classic looks(check out his younger days pics). That 80's Italy National Football Team had such charmers in it. Paolo Rossi was another legend of that team, famously known as "Angel Face" ! Kindly check out their pics, if u haven't already.
So for me, Damian' appearance changes according to my mood of the day into 1 of these 3 Italian Gods ....

ReplyDeleteAs I've said before, they are identical in appearance. The only difference in them is because of their ages. Sal/Vic are 5'9 and 15 years old where Vin and Dom are 6'3" and 18 years old. Like Gabby said in Chapter 8 looking at the same age cousins standing together is like looking at mirror twins. Even in wolf form they are identical - chocolate colored wolves with one cream colored paw. Frank's youngsters have a cream right paw, Joe's have a cream colored left paw - just like their fathers.

ReplyDeleteLoved the pics of Carlucci's elders & fathers, except the boys. I mean i can deal with Greg Plitt being the representation for all the boys except Damian. I mean, Damian is full of charm & personality, he is very different from others in every possible way. So i think that this model (i guess) doesn't have the charisma to be Damian, i mean this guy can barely bring an expression to his face & Damian is full of madness. Besides i am not crazy about too much muscles, after a point, muscles look ridiculous. That is why i said i like the seniors' pics all together that you have put, they all have personality & charisma but the youngsters' representative pics lack that. The way you picked Kevin Coastner as Senator was brilliant, Victoria too is spot on. Miller girls too have the necessary sweetness & vulnerability as well, so are the Morretti's, loved alberto & angelo, Gabby stole my heart. But Sophia, Antony & the Carlucci boys are a let down for me, they lack personality, what i mean is Joe Manganiello isn't just muscles, he got an expression wise rich face as well. So instead of going for models you could have put some young actor as Antony.
You could have put an actor with great body, some one like Matt Bomer for Carlucci boys. Bomer is just too much fun & full of mischief (from the TV series WHITE COLLAR), would have been a brilliant Damian. This is just my personal opinion, the story is after all yours. I think people are so influenced by your story due to the relatability. While reading, i can imagine all the youngsters huddled together around the girls, Damian thinking up some new devilish ideas etc. That is why i wrote this much regarding the representation pics. I as a reader feel so passionately about this story, it has almost become a part of my life. Not all of us have such loving families & siblings like those in the story, so a bit of wishful thinking as well.
I love how people are so invested in the story. I added a few pics to the Carlucci boys section, but I stand by my decision of Greg Plitt. The pick of Ariana Grande for Sophia is good because she shows the vulnerability and innocence Sophia/Maria need. Colin Wayne as Anthony is perfect because he has the build but also the intensity needed as the future Alpha of SMP. I'll try and add more pics of Arianna Grande, but between writing the chapters, adding other things on the blog, doing FB and maintaining my family and life, I do tend to get distracted and busy.
