The Dating Rules:

These laws were put into effect by Alpha Council President Roberts after he was elected and done to protect the underage females.  He is still haunted by the kidnapping, rape and murder of his sixteen year old sister by his best friend, who was the Second in Command’s son – he feels if the rules had been in effect his sister would still be alive. 

1.  Alpha Council rule - They are always to be escorted by at least one male member of their household, unless they          are with their parent.

    SMP – All underage female Weres in SMP are always escorted by at least two males or more depending on where they        are going and what they are doing.

2.  Alpha Council rule – They are to be trained in self-defense.

     SMP – All underage female are taught self-defense and combat training with weekly training classes mandatory for girls       from age 6 to 18.

3.  Alpha Council rule – Underage girls must remain pure until their 18^th birthday.  This prevents them from being             unwillingly mated before they are ready, protects them from predators and rape.  If a female is raped, the female is                   protected but the male is put to death.  The penalty for intended mates who violate this policy is banishment from the Pack. 

4.  Alpha Council rule - Underage intended mates are never allowed to be alone together and must have at least two         family members with them at all times unless their parents are present, then only one family member is acceptable.

5.  Alpha Council rule -

·        Fifteen years old - the only physical contact allowed will be for the intended to scent your neck and hair and pull you into his side, never fully against your front or back.  You will be allowed to sit next to him and he will be allowed to hold your hand or put his arm over your shoulder and you may lay your head on his shoulder.

·        Sixteen years old – they are now allowed to kiss, but they are still not allowed to be fully against the front or back of their intended. 

·        Seventeen years old – they are now allowed to kiss and cuddle more; able to sit in their mates lap, sit between their mates legs and lean against his chest while his arms encircle her waist.  When kissing they are permitted to caress their mates back, shoulders and arms.

·        Eighteen years old – they are able to have sex with their mate or if they haven’t found their mate, they are free to have sex with whomever they want.
